Philadelphia Union youth trio receive United Soccer Coach honors

Tonny Temple was named an All-American and Brenden Aaronson and Axel Picazo both joined Temple on the all-region team announced by the United Soccer Coaches on Monday.

Temple (Millville, Pa.) rejoined the Philadelphia Union Academy over the summer after spending two seasons in Florida at the IMG Academy and the United States U17 residency program.

A forward, Temple scored 10 goals in 16 games last season at IMG and has six goals in 11 games with the Union U19 team this season in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

Aaronson (Medford, N.J.), an attacking midfielder known for his playmaking ability, has a pair of goals in eight games this season with the U19s after spending the summer and part of the fall with Bethlehem Steel, where he made six appearances and two starts.
