Philadelphia Union announced Tuesday that it will host the first edition of MLS’ Heineken Rivalry Week of the 2016 season on May 20 against D.C. United. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff and will be televised nationally on UniMás.
Fans will have an opportunity to have their voice be heard in this matchup. Supporters from both sides will be able to vote on the name of the rivalry via Twitter. Supporters can choose from #I95CUP, #CAPITALCUP, #FREEDOMCUP or #COLONIALCUP. The voting begins May 4 and will conclude on May 6.
Supporters will also have a chance to win two tickets to the match just by submitting a match-poster that best exemplifies the rivalry.
