Bethlehem Steel have announced that Cory Burke will be the second player to move from the USL side up to the Philadelphia Union in MLS. After joining on loan from Jamaican side Rivoli United for Steel FC’s insugural season, Burke established himself as one of the more promising goal scorers in the USL. The Kingston native will move on from Steel as the team leader in goals with 13, shots with 103, and shots on goal with 40 as well as having two multi-goal games against Pittsburgh. It’s also worth noting that Burke will count as an international for the Union.
