CHESTER, Pa. (September 4, 2019) – Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has loaned forward Cory Burke to Jamaican National Premier League club Portmore United FC. The loan is for the remainder of the 2019 season.
Additionally, Burke has been called up by the Jamaican National Team as an addition to the Reggae Boyz’ squad ahead of two Concacaf Nations League contests: vs. Antigua and Barbuda (September 6) and at Guyana (September 9). These two matches are Jamaica’s debut in the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League B, which consists of a double round robin among four teams in one group.
