Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Andre Blake can now add sports bar owner to his resume.
He and his wife, Shauna Kay Blake, recently opened a sports bar in Jamaica called Blake’s Kickout Sports Bar and Lounge near where the 30-year-old reigning MLS Goalkeeper of the Year grew up in the city of May Pen.
The Jamaican international keeper talked about the new business with the Jamaica Gleaner.
“I’m business-minded and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do,” Blake said. “This is me coming back and doing something, not just for myself, but something where I am able to employ people.
