Philadelphia Union fell to Montreal Impact 2-1 in Canada on Wednesday night in their first match since returning from the 2017 Gold Cup break. The Union will continue their road trip this Saturday when they take on Columbus Crew SC on Saturday. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on The Comcast Network.
Both clubs traded possession in the first 15 minutes of play, but Montreal got their home fans going in the 19th minute. Montreal’s Chris Duvall sent in a cross from the far side of the pitch, finding the head of Michael Salazar in the box.
