It has become a tradition in the United States for big European clubs to have training camp over here while the clubs are in preseason. This upcoming summer appears to be no different, and even teams that aren’t necessarily household names such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, or Chelsea are starting to get in on the action.
Philadelphia fans are used to seeing European clubs play against the Union, with Swansea City from the English Premier League playing the Union last summer as the most recent example.
