After making only two appearances over two seasons in Chapel Hill, Philadelphia Union Academy grad Sean Wilson is moving to Big East program Xavier University this fall.
The Bethlehem native made his commitment this week.
One of the Union’s top youth prospects heading into college, Wilson received numerous call-ups to U.S. youth international teams from the U14 to U20 age group. But playing time for the holding midfielder was hard to find on a deep North Carolina squad that made it to the College Cup in 2016.
Xavier should be a good place for Wilson to get his career back on track.
