Philadelphia Union 3, New York Red Bulls 0: Instant recap and player ratings survey

Boy that felt good.

The Philadelphia Union got off to a solid start as they had numerous good looks at goal in the first ten minutes of the game, none better than a Haris Medunjanin chip on a free kick at the edge of the box that just sailed wide of the post. The first half ended with few other noteworthy incidents, and the game went to the break 0-0.

The second half started with the Union having to deal with tons of pressure from the Red Bulls as they got numerous shots on net, but Andre Blake was up to the task and made numerous great saves to keep the game tied.
