The 2026 World Cup bid committee has narrowed its list down to 32 potential host cities, and Philadelphia was named one of the finalists.
The committee's 32 finalists feature cities all throughout North America, including 25 cities in the United States. All 22 MLS clubs and their home cities are included in the 32 finalists.
"We received applications from 41 cities across Canada, Mexico and the United States and narrowed the list after a comprehensive review of each of the communities and facilities. The 32 cities that we have identified as potential host cities, on their own and together, are prepared to welcome soccer fans from around the world.
