Phang to overcome fear of heights for charity Friday afternoon

What better way to overcome a fear of heights than doing it for charity. That's what Union mascot Phang will be doing Friday afternoon as he will rappel 29 stories down to raise money for Philadelphia Outward Bound School.

The loveable reptile will get another adrenaline rush of a lifetime (he was hit by lightning after all) by rappelling down from the top of Two Commerce Square in Center City at 12:30 p.m. to help fund outdoor education programs for more than 60 Philadelphia public and charter schools.

The Union will also have a table set up on the ground with t-shirt pressing for purchase with proceeds going to Outward Bound along with over giveaways.
