Today's UNIBET on this Day in Union history focuses on Brenden Aaronson, who was announced as the sixth homegrown in Philadelphia Union history two years ago.
Just six weeks after scoring his first USL goal, Aaronson was joined by Technical Director Chris Albright and many others to mark the occasion of the latest Union homegrown talent to progress through the Path to the Pros.
"Brenden has earned this contract through his hard work in training and his play with Bethlehem Steel FC and the Union Academy," Albright said in 2018. "This is another signing that we believe is reflective of our club’s philosophy and our ownership’s commitment to developing local talent.
