Philadelphia Union will take another short trip up to New Jersey to take on the Montreal Impact on Sunday at 7PM. Montreal is playing a ‘home’ match at Red Bull Arena due to the travel limitations enforced by Canada relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite missing many key pieces to their lineup, the Union proved yet again that they have a deep squad picking up three points in a dramatic win against New England. Anthony Fontana had the best match of his professional career by scoring a brace after subbing on about halfway through the second half. His late game heroics earned him a spot on Team of the Week as well as MLS’s Goal of the Week.
