The College Cup finished its Round of 16 during the past weekend, and five of the eight teams emerging from the other side feature players from the Philadelphia Union Academy.
Still holding on to its No. 1 overall seed is Wake Forest, which features three Union Academy products in Mark McKenzie, Justin McMaster and Joey DeZart. Wake Forest defeated Butler 2-0 in the Round of 16, as McKenzie played the full 90 minutes, with McMaster and DeZart getting game time coming off the bench.
Wake Forest will face off against No. 9 Stanford, which has a Union Academy alum on its roster as well in Andrew Aprahamian.
