The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended New England Revolution midfielder Diego Fagundez for one game. Fagundez was also issued an undisclosed fine for violent conduct in the 89th minute of New England’s match against Toronto FC on June 23. Fagundez will serve the suspension during the Revolution’s match on Sunday, July 2 against Philadelphia Union.
Fagundez has been a key player for the Revolution with four goals and four assists so far this season, and playing a total of 1405 minutes.
The 22 year old is the Revolution's first ever Homegrown Player to sign with the first team.
