The Philadelphia Union’s 32-year-old Bosnian midfielder Haris Medunjanin received a call-up to the Bosnia and Herzegovina squad ahead of two international friendlies in the U.S. later this month.
Medunjanin currently has 56 appearances for his national team dating back to his debut in 2009. He was last called up for World Cup Qualifiers in October 2017, against Belgium and Estonia. He started as a central attacking midfielder in both games and scored against Belgium for his ninth international goal.
Bosnia and Herzegovina will take on the United States in Carson, California on Sunday, January 28th, followed by a match against Mexico in San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday, January 31st.
