Marcus Epps picked by New York Red Bulls in Waiver Draft

Marcus Epps may have been a well-liked player during his two seasons with the blue and gold, but he’s dead to us now.

The 24-year-old winger from Mississippi, whose contract option was declined last month, was selected by the New York Red Bulls in the MLS Waiver draft on Wednesday afternoon.

The Union paid $50,000 in 2018 general allocation money to Minnesota United in order to draft the former South Florida star 25th overall in the 2017 SuperDraft.

Epps showed promise and had some entertaining moments splitting time between the first team and Bethlehem Steel FC over two seasons.
