Philadelphia was chosen as a host city for the fable South American tournament's 100th anniversary. As if that wasn't good enough news, they'll be hosting one of the United States Men's national team matches.
In a joint press release, CONCACAF and CONMEBOL announced the match schedule for the highly anticipated Copa America Centenario, being played from June 3rd to June 26th next summer in the United States. Speculation that the tournament would appear here in Philadelphia ended in October when the city was named one of ten host cities for the 100th anniversary of South America's premier international tournament.
