Accam as a top attacking player
Philadelphia Union introduced David Accam today in the team's first press conference of the season, where Head Coach Jim Curtin discussed the impact of having him as a key player on the attacking force. Accam is a difference maker on the pitch with his quality of play by creating space for players and ability to go one vs. one. Curtin also noted that with Accam being a top-class player, everyone's game rises.
"David is a guy who is known in our league for his speed, but when we scouted him we also noted just how good he is on the ball and the different dynamics he brings to the team, the space that he creates for others because he is so dangerous," Curtin said.
