Keegan Rosenberry’s disappointing sophomore season will end with him unavailable for selection against Orlando City on Sunday.
Philadelphia Union head coach Jim Curtin said Thursday during his weekly press conference that the 23-year-old defender will be suspended for the team’s season finale because of inappropriate conduct on social media.
This after Rosenberry tweeted out a photo of himself sitting on the bench with a request for caption help 90 minutes before the start of the Union’s game in Bridgeview, Illinois against the Chicago Fire last Sunday. Rosenberry was an unused sub in the game while Richie Marquez, who was also pictured in the tweet, started the match.
