Well it wasn’t the result anyone was hoping for, nor a result that anyone really predicted as the Philadelphia Union fell to bottom-of-the-league Chicago Fire 3-0 at Toyota Park on Saturday night, a place where they haven’t won since 2013.
Saturday’s match was, by far, not the Union’s best showing and after the loss head coach Jim Curtin addressed the media.
“We have three at home, three on the road, no easy games left, I don’t think there are any easy games, tonight is an example of that. The table, you can kind of throw it out the window at this stage because anybody can beat anybody in this league if you’re not ready to go.
