Preston & Steve Rock! All of our friends at WMMR, who are involved with one of the city’s great morning programs, rock too!
Last week, they combined to collect a total of 1,367,384 pounds of food—more than 683 tons—to help their partners at Philabundance in their on-going quest to provide food for those in need. It was the largest amount of non-perishable food collected since the Camp Out for Hunger program was initiated in 1998. Plus, Preston & Steve listeners also contributed over $74,000 in cash, and together that will translate to over 1.4 million meals for hungry individuals throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region.
