Jack Elliott finishes third in Rookie of the Year voting

MLS announced the final vote for the AT&T Rookie of the Year and Union defender Jack Elliott finished third, behind winner Julian Gressel of Atlanta United FC and Abu Danladi of Minnesota United FC.

Elliott put together a phenomenal rookie season, one in which he played the most minutes among all MLS rookies and was a major cornerstone in the Union defense.

The Union selected Elliott in the fourth round (77th overall) in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft. He joined the Union for its preseason and officially signed with the team on February 24.

Elliott made an appearance with Bethlehem Steel FC before finding his way into the Union's game day 18.
