Ilsinho opened the scoring with a blistering shot just three minutes into the match off a great cross from Alejandro Bedoya to give the Union a 1-0 lead. Three minutes later, Ilsinho added his assist for the night, as he hit Fafa Picault on a cross to give the Union a 2-0 lead. Ilsinho registered his brace in the 64th minute, when Haris Medunjanin sent a gorgeous long ball for him to run on, and he didn't squander the chance, putting his shot into the back of the net to extend the Union's lead to 5-0.
