Philadelphia Union will honor Staff Sergeant Hufford in the team's match against Orlando City SC Wednesday night.
Staff Sergeant Hufford is in his 7th year of service with the United States Army. Hufford has recently returned home from his most recent tour of duty where he was stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina with the 27th Engineer Battalion Airborne where he served as a member of the Global Response Force.
For his services, Staff Sergeant Hufford has been awarded the Army Parachutist Badge, 5 Army Achievement Medals, 2 Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medals, and 2 Army Good Conduct Medals.
