Daniel Robelledo’s unassisted goal in the 56th minute held up as the winner in a 1-0 win for Harcum College over Western Texas and kept the Bears rolling into the semifinal of the NJCAA Division 1 championship.
The win was the Bears’ second in two matches of group play after opening with a 2-1 win over Snow College and keeps their perfect season record intact at 13-0-0.
That leading goal-scorer Ryan Kingsford (19 goals, 14 assists), who has been moonlighting with Philadelphia Union 2, hasn’t scored in the two matches is a good sign heading into the semifinal that they can find goals through multiple sources.
