Gretchen Schultz to sing national anthem for Pride Night July 26

The Union are hosting the team's Pride Night on July 26 on the team's home match against Columbus Crew SC, and there will be a special anthem singer for the match.

Gretchen Schultz, an active member of the LGTBQ community, will be singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" for the Union's match.

Schultz has performed at Philadelphia Pride at Penns Landing, New Hope Pride, Main Line Youth Alliance Benefits, as well as the inaugural Chester County Pride Fest in 2016.

A Philadelphia native, Schultz has been a longtime backing vocalist and percussionist for Christine Havrilla. She has recorded more than a dozen records with different artists in the tri-state area, and released her first full album, "Not Afraid to Fall," in 2014.
