According to a report in TransferMarkt, German goalkeeper Benjamin Bellot will be coming to Philadelphia to trial with the Philadelphia Union next week.
Bellot, 26, is a third choice keeper for Bundesliga club RB Leipzig, where he’s made 27 appearances since 2009 and has also played for the club’s reserve team, RB Leipzig II.
The Union currently have three goalkeepers on the first-team roster with starter Andre Blake and backup John McCarthy. Jake McGuire was signed after trialing with the team in March and made his professional debut on Sunday for Bethlehem Steel FC.
