Philadelphia and San Jose both enter Saturday’s matchup with four wins on the season. Each team is coming off home wins last weekend.
The Union will continue their longest homestand of the season after defeating NYCFC 2-0 last week at Talen Energy Stadium. Philadelphia scored two goals before halftime thanks to Chris Pontius in the 26th minute and C.J Sapong in the 41st minute. The Union defense played a huge role last week, allowing just one shot on goal to secure the victory.
The San Jose Earthquakes will come to Talen Energy Stadium also looking to continue their winning ways.
