This will be the second fixture between the clubs this season, with the Union winning the first contest on March 12 at Mapfre Stadium, 2-1.
The Union enter Wednesday’s match having secured two points from two road matches the previous week – at Orlando City on Wednesday and at Colorado over the weekend. Late dramatics helped Philadelphia snatch a point against the Rapids, with Brian Carroll getting on the end of a Fabian Herbers’ header to level the match in the 92nd minute of play.
