Haris Medunjanin doesn’t keep any souvenirs of his winding career through international soccer at his place out near City Avenue. In fact, the only proof you’d find there that he’s a soccer player is a game ball signed by his teammates from the night he scored his first Union goal.
The physical souvenirs are all at his mother’s home in the Netherlands. But the memories are all still crystal-clear. And he can still put them together with all the elegance and intelligence of the inch-perfect passes he offers his teammates at Talen Energy Stadium.
It is a story unlike any other the Union locker room has seen.
