Fafa Picault came to the Union with a specific skill set, one that the Union believed would be a key factor for the team in the 2017 season. It hasn’t translated quite to the scoresheet yet, but his speed and skill on the ball has been prevalent through three games.
“Fafa’s the kind of guy, when opposing center backs or outside backs look over and see him coming in, he scares because he has that speed,” Head Coach Jim Curtin said. “He makes them a little uncomfortable. He’s a guy I’m confident going to late in games.”
In all three of the Union’s games this season, Fafa has been a late game substitution.
