Philadelphia Union defender Fabinho has been with the club since 2013 — impressing both on and off the pitch with his compassion for the team while serving as a role model for the younger guys.
Head Coach Jim Curtin believes Fabinho has the characteristics to don the Captain’s Armband.
“He’s done a really good job this preseason not only on the field, but behind the scenes and things that people don’t see," Curtin said. "He’s kind of Captain material, to be honest."
What people don’t get to see is the true passion that Fabinho has for the club and organization, something Curtin and the team sees every day.
