The Eastern Conference is off this weekend but pressure is beginning to mount as Union head into their final two matches of the regular season.
Next Sunday, the Union will host Orlando City SC, and once again the Union find themselves in a position to clinch given the result of their match and how New England Revolution fare against Chicago Fire.
Currently, Union are just above the red line with 42 points followed closely behind by New England Revolution with 39 points, and Columbus Crew SC with 35 points. If Philadelphia wins on October 16th and New England loses or ties to Chicago, the Union will clinch a playoff spot.
