EA Sports has released the first trailer for FIFA 17, giving fans a glimpse of this 2017 iteration of the annual soccer video game franchise. While much of the trailer appears to be live action shots of players, the most exciting announcement was the inclusion of EA’s Frostbite gaming engine. The engine is used in many of EA’s other titles and appears to be another step forward in making the game be as realistic as possible in both gameplay and visuals.
EA has taken big steps forward in recent years with dribbling mechanics, passing, ball movement and the inclusion of scans of player’s faces.
