Philadelphia Union lost 2-1 to Seattle Sounders FC Saturday night in front 39,620 fans at CenturyLink Field. Despite being down to 10 men, Sebastien Le Toux brought the Union within a goal in the 73rd minute, but the Union couldn’t find an equalizer. They’ll return to action Saturday, April 23 against New York City FC.
Chad Marshall opened the scoring in the 41st minute off a corner kicker from Andreas Ivanschitz. Union defenders were caught in traffic and Marshall was left unmarked for the open header.
