MLS All-Star week activities continued on Tuesday night and Philadelphia Union flexed their young muscles on a steamy night at Toyota Park in the 2017 MLS Homegrown Game. The Union had two members of their club on the pitch to take on the Chivas de Guadalajara's U-20 Team.
Derrick Jones and Auston Trusty were named to the Homegrown roster and became the first players in Philadelphia club history to represent the Union in an Homegrown match after going through the Union Academy ranks as well as playing for USL affiliate Bethlehem Steel.

As expected by any Union fan, both Jones and Trusty were named to the Starting Xi by MLS Homegrown coaches Brian McBride and Mike Magee.
