There are three possible destinations for the Union’s knockout match in the Audi 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs; Toronto, New York City, and Washington D.C. Here are the possible scenarios that would result in each of those matchups.
Scenario 1: Union travel to NYCFC
- If Toronto beats Chicago and NYCFC loses or draws to Columbus, then Toronto will advance to second in the East and New York will fall to third. If Union draws or loses to Red Bulls, they will stay in sixth and will travel to Yankee Stadium next Wednesday or Thursday.
