As if any intrigue was needed to fuel Wednesday night’s highly anticipated match with LA Galaxy, Union head coach Jim Curtin promptly broke down who might be traveling to Talen Energy Stadium for the midweek match.
“They’re bringing everybody.”
With just two days off following Sunday’s win over New England Revolution, there was some thought Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena could elect to leave some players home for cross-country flight to Philly. Add the fact that veterans Robbie Keane and Steven Gerrard were coming off injuries, it appeared to make sense. And while it may be speculation, Curtin is preparing for LA’s best XI.
