At just 38-years-old, Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin is the second youngest coach in Major League Soccer.
Curtin, a longtime MLS defender himself, retired at the age of 30 from his playing career in 2009. Five years later in the summer of 2014, he accepted the position as the Union's head coach and will enter his fifth season with the club this year.
Despite being one of the youngest to coach an MLS team, Curtin has several accomplishments under his belt. He's the first head coach in Union history to record double-digit wins in three consecutive seasons.
