Philadelphia Union midfielders Alejandro Bedoya and Haris Medunjanin were a dangerous duo during the 2017 campaign. When the two were paired together in the midfield last season, the Union owned a 9-3-3 record at Talen Energy Stadium.
The Union also held an impressive 9-2-3 record in 2017 when Medunjanin and Bedoya recorded a goal or an assist in a match in all MLS competitions.
The two midfielders were responsible for 35 percent of the Union’s assist total from last season and were accounted for 21 percent of the club’s total scoring.
Philadelphia’s Captain Armband was worn only by Meduanjanin and Bedoya during 2017, with the exception of the final 45 minutes of the last match of the year when Brian Carroll wore it in his final MLS match of his career.
