Cory Burke is coming back.
The Jamaican international forward has signed a new deal with the Philadelphia Union that will keep the 28-year-old under contract past his 30th birthday.
His new deal is guaranteed through the 2022 season and includes an option for 2023.
“We’re excited to have come to an agreement on a new contract with Cory,” Union Sporting Director Ernst Tanner said in a news release. “He is a very talented striker who instantly strengthens our attack and solidifies our depth up top. Cory has consistently shown his value on the pitch with his dedication, hard work and ability to finish.
