Cory Burke Joins Jamaican National Team For Match At Peru

Bethlehem Steel FC forward Cory Burke has been called into Jamaica’s national team ahead of their friendly at Peru on June 13, joining Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Andre Blake on the squad.

This is Burke’s fourth consecutive senior team call up after he received his first call-up of 2017 earlier this season, making two appearances in a pair of international friendlies. He started vs. the USA on February 3 and came on as a second-half substitute vs. Honduras on February 16.

Late last year, Burke helped the Reggae Boyz to victories over Guyana and Suriname in Caribbean Cup qualification, notching his first international goal in the extra time win over Guyana in October.
