Conestoga, Camp Hill, Lower Dauphin & Salesianum repeat as high school state champions

Three eastern Pennsylvania high schools repeated as state champions at Hersheypark Stadium over the weekend while Salesianum School continued its dominance in Delaware.

Drexel commit and FC Montco standout Chris Donovan powered Conestoga to their second straight Class 4A championship on Friday night with all four goals in a 4-0 win over Hempfield. The win completed an unbeaten 25-0-1 season for the Pioneers and a No. 3 finish in the TopDrawerSoccer.com Fab 50 rankings while Donovan finished out his high school career with 56 goals.

UMBC commit Jackson Becher had a brace and Ryan Becher and Blake Cassel added goals to lead Lower Dauphin to a 4-1 win in the Class 3A final on Saturday in a rematch of the 2016 final against Northwestern Lehigh.
