Saturday's match against Chicago Fire will be the Union's Pediatric Cancer Awareness Night, where the teams and the league will bring awareness to the disease, and also honor those who have been affected by it.
As such, the Union will have not one, but 15 Hometown Heroes for the event.
These kids, who have been affected by pediatric cancer, will be honored before the match. All of them were a part of the Union's cleat initiative with Kickasso.
Each Hometown Hero designed a pair of cleats with a Union first team member earlier this season.
