It's been said throughout this season that Chris Pontius is off to his best start since 2012. That was of course the first, and so far only, season he had been voted as an MLS All-Star - and on top of it, was selected as the All-Star MVP in Philadelphia.
So when Pontius was traded to the Union after seven season with D.C. United - many weren't sure what to expect from the midfielder - but 14 games into the season, the results have been very favorable.
