The win moves the Union into second place in the Eastern Conference at the time of writing. Matt Real scored his first career MLS goal, while Kacper Przybylko scored his fifth of the season and in consecutive games against the Red Bulls after scoring the game winner against them on August 25. Brenden Aaronson scored his third goal of the season, matching his season-high of his rookie season last year.
