Philadelphia Union midfielder Haris Medunjanin earned his 58th cap for Bosnia and Herzegovina and wore the captain's armband in the team's international friendly against Mexico on Feb. 31.
Medunjanin and his teammates battled to a 1-0 loss, but were able to stop Mexico from finding the back of the net again.
In the 18th minute, Bosnia won a free kick, but Medunjanin was unable to convert with a left footed shot from outside the box.
Medunjanin competed the full 90 minutes of the match and will head to sunny Clearwater, Florida on Feb. 1 to rejoin the Union for preseason training.
