Bethlehem add the former DC United youth product to their expanding roster.
Bethlehem Steel announced today the signing of 23-year-old goalkeeper Samir Badr.
Badr started his career coming through the ranks of the D.C. United youth system before spending some time with FC Porto in Portugal. He has also made three appearances with the U20 USMNT. After not seeing much playing time with a second-tier Portuguese side and an Egyptian outfit in his two years post-Porto, Badr came back to the United States.
He made his return to American soccer via the USL, playing for OKC Energy in 2014 and most recently the Colorado Springs Switchbacks in 2015.
