The second season of Bethlehem Steel FC begins on Saturday, April 1, when the club hosts the Rochester Rhinos. Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 4 p.m. and will be televised locally on Service Electric 2 and online on YouTube.
Steel FC enters the match coming off a strong preseason that provided head coach Brendan Burke and his staff numerous opportunities to build chemistry and test the team against various styles of play. Burke believes that the preseason contests could pay dividends in this weekend’s contest.
“Opportunity is a word we use a lot in our locker room and Rochester presents a big opportunity because everyone knows that they are a well established team in the USL,” Burke said.
